From cultured marble to real marble, this project created a classic looking bathroom. When standing in the entrance to the bathroom, the new free standing tub is the focal point that draws the eye through the space and into the private back yard.
The finished bathroom features a free standing tub and a shower with a curbless entrance.
This picture was taken from the bathroom entrance. With the free standing tub there is much more space in the room and removing the mullions/grids from the windows helps the eye travel from the inside space to the private backyard.
We used the more popular tall vanities but made sure the makeup niche counter top was at the proper height for being seated. The marble wainscoting and chair rail add elegance to the bathroom.
With the new tub, there is room for a chair giving the owner a spot to sit when putting on their shoes in the morning and it adds an accent to the room.
The curbless shower entrance and ceiling in the shower being at the same height as the room helps connect it to the main bathroom space.
The new shower with two shower heads. The faucets are in a vibrant bronze finish and the controls for the shower are placed close to the shower entrance so the water temperature can be tested without standing inside.
