You may be wondering about the company name. Well, I hope I don’t bring back any high school physics class nightmares, but momentum is defined as mass times velocity. Velocity is the combination of direction and speed. There is nothing worse than heading off in the wrong direction at a high rate of speed.
The project plan and design sets the direction. Our clients and sub-contractors know what is going to be delivered before we start – the plan is the map for the project and assures the project stays on course.
When it comes to speed, I have never had a client tell me that they want me to take as much time as I want to complete their project. Expedient project execution minimizes the disruption to our clients lives.
And when it comes to mass, there are many things that have to be mobilized to get the project moving. Materials have to be ordered (with special attention to custom products), lead times managed, and personnel assigned to the project. All of these things are part of the mass of the project.
Mass, Direction, and Speed all come together to create Momentum.
